NYFW Spring 2011 Street Style Trends, Pt. 3

Twice as Nice
I was going to start off by saying fashion is contagious, but that is not really accurate. What fashion is amongst peers, is a magnet that pulls, or actually attracts you towards those who eventually become your fashion-friends, and isn't fashion the funnest things to do with a close friend on any given boring day or any day for that matter.

Here is Tavi and Laia representing their respective blogs during NYFW where it was erroneously reported that Laia was Tavi's chaperon during the shows as Tavi is just 14 years old, which would seem completely understandable as NY is quite the daunting city but then again you'd have to read Tavi's blog to understand she wouldn't find the city baffling at all, am I right Tavi?

After all, she is the newest, youngest darling of this and all other fashion capitals during fashion week.

I encountered this couple at the Comme des Garcons shop while I was buying the delicious Incense Jaisalmer perfume, and almost died because I knew I couldn't take a picture inside the store. So I was just ecstatic when I saw them down the street. If this is not avant-garde, I don't know what is.

I always love a man in a turban, even if it's not so much a fashion trend, but do check out the pink suede shoes.

Happiness is the best accessory and these two had loads of it.
Both shirts were designed by the guy on the right.

And on their way to the show.......

Even in their uniforms these two look stylish...
