Dress Diary 2.10

Since I'm a late riser, thanks to my bed companion, sometimes I need to get dressed in less than two and a half minutes. This here is my new favorite outfit to turn to in a moment of morning dressing blankness.  In my opinion I think its a pretty bland outfit but sometimes I can't be as adventuresome as I would like to where I'm going eaaarly in the morning.  

 The print in the shirt also lets me pull out all my new "toy" accessories from AE.

Because It's Christmas...or it 'twas

I have to say I'm all cliché-ish like that. It was Xmas day and what do I wear? Something red of course, with the combo of the moment: camel.  Although I felt kindda naked-looking with this skin colored top I used it as a canvas for the beautiful necklace, the work of Edmundo Castillo's nieces, whom I'm sorry to say I don't remember their line's name.  Of course, I'm also wearing my new bag, watch and bracelets, courtesy of the man himself, Santa Claus.  So happy he got my wishlist!! What did you get this Xmas?

This is not really F/W 2010 material, since I wore it a while back, but I still like it. 

I promise tomorrow I will post a couple of outfits from my trip to Miami last month.  Since the weather here doesn't permit me to dress all Fall-ish and stuff, I went crazy and put on my tights over there.

My Dress Diary, Entry 4.1

Jacket- Vintage restored, tank top- Faith, pants- Zara, shoes- very randomly bought for peanuts, chain mail bag- vintage, belt- Guess and bracelet- originally worn in the ankle by Hindu women, bought on a trip to India.

Story behind the jacket: I love this jacket soooo much. I owned a vintage store and so everyone thought they could dump their old stuff on my doorstep sort-of-speak and so I came across this jacket. It's from a super old, local boutique which still exists called Femenina. It had long sleeves and I had them cut off and folded under to create some sort of ruffle. Who would've know Nicolas would have a similar idea;)

I have to get it on with my own entries. Sorry I've been lagging behind with those but I just love finding inspiration in others and sharing them with the world.
