Sorry for the long hiatus, holidays can always wreck havoc on a persons schedule, and I'm no exception.
And while most people, like me, are drooling over faux fur coats and leather and can't wear just exactly that heat producing of an article of clothing in the tropics, we at least are wearing rain wearing worthy clothes, but not the following revelers who wore their high-waisted best to attend the Southbound Festival 2011 - Busselton from the 1st – 3rd January.
Busselton is located approximately 2.5 hours drive south of Perth, Western Australia.
Three full days, three nights camping, Over 60 acts, the Southbound Festival is a superb, sustainable music, camping and arts festival.
The lineup included: Interpol, Klaxons, The National, The Rapture, Joan Jett and The Blackhearts, Public Enemy (performing “Fear of a Black Planet”), The Living End, Eskimo Joe, Angus & Julia Stone, Birds of Tokyo, Ladyhawke, Bliss n Eso, Tame Impala, Hot Hot Heat, Cold War Kids, Sleigh Bells, Peaches (DJ Extravaganza), among others.
